- All you have to do is put the programs, etc. on drive B: and then place
- "PATH=B:\;A:\" into the environment. When logged into the A: drive type
- B:RESPONSE and it will execute. (I suggest that people using two 360k
- floppies un-compress the mailbags manually rather than having XRS do it,
- since this allows you to read twice as many messages!) You should put
- the compressed (or uncompressed) mail to be read on drive A:, plus:
-
-
- Directory of A:\ (the "XRS work diskette")
-
- XRS KEY (you only have this file if you have registered)
- ORIGIN XRS (XRS creates this the first time you run it)
-
-
- Directory of B:\ (the "XRS program diskette")
-
- RESPONSE EXE (executable - may be replaced by an OVL and/or 286 version)
- XRS$ALL DTA (binary native language support file - default is English)
- XRS$CORE RTL (Run-Time Library for C_Worthy 1.21, TurboC 2.01 & CXL 5.2)
- CONFIG XRS (your configuration file - use "CONFIG.DMO" as an example)
- PKUNZIP EXE (you need this to unpack "mailbags")
- PKZIP EXE (you need this to pack your replies)
